Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Award 2024 for Wöllner

The biological purification of water systems based on probiotics is a sustainable method which can be used for a wide range of applications. The use of hazardous substances can be reduced to a minimum, thereby protecting the environment. For this environmentally-friendly and safe solution Waropure^® we were awarded the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Award 2024 in the business sector at IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) in Mainz.

The award ceremony was attended by our management represented by Dr. Barbara März and the head of our microbiology laboratory Dr. Kerstin Keppler. They were joined by colleagues from the paper, production, and marketing divisions. Following the award ceremony, the Minister of Economic Affairs Daniela Schmitt, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce as well as visitors to the event were invited to attend the presentations of the award winners.
